It works like this: start in city A with cargo, drive to city B to drop-off, find next job in city B, go to city C, drop-off and find new job, and so on. There are some exceptions if there is a nearby city, but I wouldn't travel too far. Don't bobtail (trucker slang for a truck pulling no trailer) halfway across Europe to pick up a lucrative job.

Rumpelcrutchskin Feb 16, 2013 @ 1:09am. Once you get your own truck you can drive anywhere on the map. The maintenance and fuel cost are peanuts in later game after about level 10 or so. Only problem really is that you cant set the GPS yourself without the job but you can still use map to see where you are going. #5.
