Mar 12, 2019. #1. Hello. I just bought a 2018 Honda pioneer 1000 and I am soon ready to change the oil. The manual says to use 10w30 or 10w40 if it does not get below -10 degrees f. I am thinking of using Lucas 10w40 atv/utv motor oil suitable for wet clutches since this utv has clutch packs. The manual says to use an oil that meets spec JASO MA.

Many people here run Mobil 0-40 full synthetic and love it. But there are MANY oils that will work in your 4 stroke OHC engine. 410's Titanium 14 XP1000 2 seater & 15 Voodoo 4seater build.
